Join Team CRI on September 20, 2008 for the Harbor to the Bay (H2B) AIDS Benefit Bike Ride!

H2B is an annual one day bike ride from Boston to Provincetown that raises money and awareness to support people living with HIV and AIDS. Thanks to your support, 100% of the money raised goes to HIV-related charitable organizations - including Community Research Initiative of New England (CRI).

Registration is now open for H2B 2008! To sign up visit the H2B website here. This year registration is limited to 300 riders, so sign up today! Be sure to note that you are riding "In Honor of CRI" and join "Team CRI" by clicking on the "My Team" link on your personal page.

Mark your calendars for DINING BY DESIGN Boston 2008, Friday, December 5 and Saturday, December 6, 2008.

We are delighted to announce that DIFFA’s signature event, DBD, will return to Boston this winter. Once again, we will bring Boston's most extraordinary designers, artists, and personalities together to showcase their remarkable talents for creating astonishing tabletop environments.

The event is truly a feast for the eyes, body, and heart. As you can imagine, we are thrilled that CRI will again be the beneficiary of this remarkable event. With successful fundraising events like DBD Boston, CRI can continue leading the way in AIDS research.

Age of AIDS "The Age of AIDS" Preview Screening and Panel Discussion

On May 3, CRI and WGBH co-hosted an event to promote the FRONTLINE documentary series The Age of AIDS. The evening included a reception, film clips, and a panel discussion by HIV experts. The panel included (from left to right): Renata Simone, the series producer and reporter, Dr. David Ho, from the Aaron Diamond AIDS Research Center, Dr. Cal Cohen, CRI’s Director of Research, Dr. Heidi Behforouz , Director of the PACT Project, Dr. Jim Kim, co-founder of Partners in Health, and William Dodge, one of the first patients to receive the triple cocktail.
